This is an old farm we found while driving through Stillwater.  By the looks of the house and the condition it is in, it seems to have been abandoned for at least 20 years.

They obviously meant that it had been abandoned for roughly 20 years. THanks for your expert advice though.

I Love this house and drive by it often. I so want to go onto the property to take some pictures. I have a few from the road. Do you know who owns it? I don't know if there is someone I need to ask permission from first.

does anyone know how I can get in to this area and do some photo shoots with a bunch of models of mine? I just need to know my name and a phone number or contact information so that I don't cross over boundaries without permission. Thanks,

i am curious… Which side of stillwater is the house located on. I used to live in Yale Oklahoma, which is about a 30min drive from stillwater on Highway 51. I dont remember it being there. I went to school at OSU-Stillwater back in 2008-2009. I live in Okmulgee now so Stillwater is a pretty decident drive from here. I dont want to go there just curious on which side it is located on of the school since (if i remembe right the school is located in the middle of Stillwater). Its been a while since I've been up there.… Read more »

Della Hart lived here with her family, when Clyde Matheson proposed and married Della. Several of their descendants still live in the area. Clyde worked on construction of the original Gallagher Arena at OSU.

This is the house my grandfather proposed to my grandmother around 1917-18.

Seems to be at least 20 years old? Perhaps abandoned for at least 20 years. The house and many of the items in the photos are more like 60-100 years old. This was certainly not a 1993 structure.

It says nowhere in the article that the structure is 20 years old. It says 'abadoned for at least 20 years.' I hope that you don't reproduce.
